Free tool · First mine, no sign-up

Your buyers already wrote your next listing

Enter a shop or a listing. The miner reads the reviews and hands you the praise worth quoting, the complaints quietly costing sales, and the product buyers keep asking for.

Free · no sign-up · reviews are read via Etsy's official API and never stored. Works on your shop or any other.

What the mine returns

Four things hiding in your reviews

01

Product — fix & improve

The complaints buyers write instead of emailing you — each with a count of how often it comes up and the smallest fix that removes it.

02

Research — what to make next

The variation, size or colour buyers ask for right in the reviews, and the use-cases they discovered that you aren't marketing yet.

03

SEO — in the buyers' words

The exact nouns and phrases buyers use for your product, click-to-copy — and which of them are missing from your title.

04

Operations — the experience

Shipping speed, packaging, communication — what the experience feels like from the other side, with one action per finding.

Reviews are the only market research buyers do for you

Every review is a buyer explaining, unprompted, why they paid. The five-star ones hand you selling language better than any copywriter: the exact words a stranger used to justify the purchase to themselves. The four-star ones are quieter and more valuable — a “beautiful, though I expected it bigger” is a size-photo problem you can fix this week.

And scattered through both are requests: a colour they wanted, a bigger version, a matching piece. Sellers pay for surveys to learn what their reviews already say. Reading a hundred of them takes an hour; the miner does it in seconds and keeps the receipts — every quote is verbatim.

Works on any shop, including the one you're chasing

Mine your own shop to fix and quote. Mine a bestseller to see what their buyers complain about — that gap is often your opening. Pair it with the listing spy to study how they rank, and the photo doctor to check your own line-up. All free, like this one.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Etsy review miner free?

Your first mine is completely free with no sign-up. After that we ask for an email to keep going — you'll get occasional Etsy seller tips and can unsubscribe anytime.

What can I enter?

A shop name (like WoodThings), a shop link, or a single listing's link. Shop-level mining reads the widest sample; a listing link also compares the buyers' own words against your title and flags the ones you haven't used.

How does it read the reviews?

Through Etsy's official API — the same public reviews anyone can see on the shop page, up to the 300 most recent. No scraping, no login, nothing needed from you.

Are the quotes real?

Yes — quotes are lifted verbatim from the reviews, never invented. If the reviews are too few or too thin to mine honestly, the tool says so instead of padding.

Can I mine a competitor's shop?

Any public shop works. A bestseller's complaints are a map of what their buyers wish existed — often the exact gap your product can fill.

What do I do with the results?

Put the buyer phrases into your titles and first lines, fix the smallest complaint first, and treat the launch ideas as a shortlist to validate. That loop — listen, fix, launch — is what tusella is being built to run on your real shop.
