Buyer interest can start before a holiday. Each event below has a suggested preparation day, set 14 days before our estimated demand start. This is a planning buffer, not an Etsy indexing rule. 43 dates for 2026; 15 of them carry most of the year's sales.

What does “list by” mean?

It is a suggested preparation date, calculated as 14 days before our estimated start of seasonal demand. Etsy does not guarantee an indexing or ranking deadline; adjust the date for your production and shipping time.

Why are there two Mother's Days?

The UK and Ireland celebrate Mothering Sunday three weeks before Easter (15 March 2026), while the US, Canada and Australia celebrate the second Sunday of May (10 May 2026). If you sell to both markets, you get two separate demand waves — and need region-specific keywords for each.

When should Christmas listings go live?

Prepare listings, photos, inventory, and shipping information ahead of the shopping period. The right date depends on your production and delivery times; this calendar offers a planning prompt, not a deadline set by Etsy.

Are the shipping cutoff dates final?

Not yet — carriers publish exact Christmas deadlines each autumn. The dates shown are typical for recent years (US domestic around 18 December, international air around 9 December). We update the calendar once USPS and Royal Mail confirm.

Is the calendar free? Can I import it?
