# Install Tusella's Claude Skills for Etsy sellers

Instructions for an AI agent. The user asked you to install free Claude Skills for Etsy work from https://tusella.com/claude-skills/. Each skill is one plain-text SKILL.md file with no scripts. Source: https://github.com/tusella/etsy-claude-skills (MIT).

Skills: etsy-listing-audit, etsy-titles-and-tags, etsy-description-writer, pinterest-pins-from-etsy, etsy-main-photo-check.

## If you can run shell commands (Claude Code or a similar agent)

1. Tell the user what you are about to install and ask for a yes.
2. Install all five:

   ```bash
   npx skills add tusella/etsy-claude-skills
   ```

   Or one: `npx skills add tusella/etsy-claude-skills --skill etsy-listing-audit`

   Without Node.js, copy the folders instead:

   ```bash
   git clone --depth 1 https://github.com/tusella/etsy-claude-skills /tmp/etsy-claude-skills
   mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills
   cp -R /tmp/etsy-claude-skills/skills/* ~/.claude/skills/
   ```

3. Check that `~/.claude/skills/etsy-listing-audit/SKILL.md` exists. The skills load in a new session.
4. Tell the user what to try: "audit this Etsy listing" and paste the title, tags and description.

## If you are the Claude app (claude.ai or desktop) without a shell

You can't install skills yourself. Give the user these steps:

1. Download a zip: https://tusella.com/skills/etsy-listing-audit.zip (the others: etsy-titles-and-tags, etsy-description-writer, pinterest-pins-from-etsy, etsy-main-photo-check, same URL pattern).
2. Settings → Capabilities → Skills → upload the zip.
3. Start a new chat and ask "audit this Etsy listing".

## Rules

- Don't run anything the user hasn't agreed to.
- Don't edit the skill files unless the user asks.
- These skills don't access any Etsy shop. To let an agent read and edit real listings as drafts, see https://tusella.com/etsy-mcp-server/install.md
